Run your Own Team Games (Card Sharp)

Card Sharp is a fun and active way to explore team communication and reinforce the importance of attention to detail. The team members (working as either Communicators or Builders) are charged with recreating exactly a card arrangement on display. However, will participants take the time to discover what 'recreating exactly' really means? A hugely enjoyable communication exercise for the whole team!

No of Participants: 1-8 per teams.  With extra packs of cards, this activity can easily accomodate larger groups or multiple teams.

Timings: 15-45 minutes for Standard Activities

Location: Indoor or outdoors. Requires a clear, flat space for recreating the display and a nearby area (easily and safely accessible) where the display is available to be viewed.

When to use: With teams that are looking for a challenge with real depth! Apart from being a fun, active, and rewarding event, the process whereby the teams come to terms with the card display generates plenty of material for a constructive feedback session! This is an ideal activity to explore working across team boundaries and the importance of trusting your teammates.It is also ideal for large groups as it is possible for one facilitator to monitor many groups simultaneously.

Participants will learn: Reliance on your fellow team members, attention to detail, working under pressure and the importance of a unified effort for success!

If you want to run this activity with more than one team at a time then you'll need to purchase additional packs of cards (one pack per team).

You can purchase playing cards in many locations please purchase Waddington cards to ensure they are all formatted the same.
