Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week - Day Charter

One of the largest annual sporting events in the UK and the largest sailing regatta worldwide attracting over 1000 yachts and 8000 competitors, as well as a huge number of spectators. It has a very exciting race schedule together with a full social programme ashore throughout the whole week. Aberdeen Asset Managment Cowes Week racing takes place on the Solent, a challenging stretch of water, with strong tides and the changeable British summer weather ensuring competitive yacht racing.

The Clipper 60s are the original Clipper Race fleet which took part in the first four editions of the event and between them have raced almost half a million miles.

The Clipper 60s have the classic look of the traditional ocean racing thoroughbred. They were specially built in England by Colvic Craft to sail around the world with a crew of 15. At 60-foot from bow to stern they have been designed to balance speed with sea kindliness –a magic alliance which brings security and great enjoyment to the crews on board. Designed by Pederick, a prominent and progressive leader in yacht design, the yachts also perform well in light winds
