One of the largest annual sporting events in the UK and the largest sailing regatta worldwide attracting over 1000 yachts and 8000 competitors, as well as a huge number of spectators. It has a very exciting race schedule together with a full social programme ashore throughout the whole week.

Aberdeen Asset Management racing takes place on the Solent, a challenging stretch of water, with strong tides and the changeable British summer weather ensuring competitive yacht racing.   Aberdeen Asset Management has a long-standing heritage in sailing first involved with the renowned English skipper Sam Davies in her first ever single-handed transatlantic race, the 2001 Mini Transat between La Rochelle and Brazil.
