One of the largest annual sporting events in the UK and the largest sailing regatta worldwide attracting over 1000 yachts and 8000 competitors, as well as a huge number of spectators. It has a very exciting race schedule together with a full social programme ashore throughout the whole week. Aberdeen Asset Managment Cowes Week racing takes place on the Solent, a challenging stretch of water, with strong tides and the changeable British summer weather ensuring competitive yacht racing.

The ten identical Clipper 68s are the current Clipper Round the World race fleet. They offer the perfect platform for a unique, exciting and memorable big boat sailing experience for you and your guests.

With three circumnavigations and more than 100,000 miles under their hulls the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race fleet is tried and tested. The state-of-the-art stripped down racing yachts come from the drawing board of renowned yacht designer Ed Dubois. The masthead cutters have been designed for fast downwind ocean racing and, with an open deck layout, provide a perfect platform for fleet racing and corporate events.

Built for speed and safety the yachts give any non-professional sailors on board an unprecedented hands on racing challenge. Measuring 68-foot from bow to stern and with a 90-foot mast the yachts are an impressive sight and are the world’s largest fleet of matched ocean racing yachts.

Clipper’s skippers and mates are professional sailors who, prior to the start of the Clipper Race, trained their novice crews to take on the world’s oceans.
